Jersey Fabric

Jersey is a fine knitting technique. This technique originated on a small island next to France called Jersey. Today, jersey is mainly made of cotton, but materials such as linen, wool, silk, acrylic, polyester, bamboo or modal are also used for jersey knits.

Why jersey?

Jersey has great stretch. A jersey garment comfortably shapes the silhouette. The soft material hardly creases and is breathable. These qualities make jersey well suited for comfortable clothing, T-shirts, sweaters, underwear, dresses, sweatpants and bedding.
